Description

The rose is one of the main exportations of Ecuador. Ecuadorian roses are known for their large blooms, which occur in about 60 varieties in various colors and shades of red, pink, yellow, purple and lavender. Ecuadorian roses have deep green stems that are long and straight. This makes them especially good for display in tall vases. 

Ecuador is located on the equator, where it receives light at a 90-degree angle. The warm, dry days and cool nights, along with the fertile volcanic soil in the Andes Mountains, make for perfect conditions for growing roses.
