OVERVIEW
We will visit the time during the Spanish era until independence when Ecuador officially adopted its name in 1830 mostly thanks to the work of the Geodessic Mission that came to our country in 1736 to make measurements and prove that the world was in fact flat on the poles and elongated in the Equatorial Line. Learn about their contributions as well as experience that in Ecuador is the only place in the world where you can look 4 constellations of stars.
The Equatorial Line tour, located north of Quito where we will visit first the Touristic complex of Ciudad Mitad del Mundo, continue to the Intiñan In Situ Museum and last enjoy a visit to the Pululahua Geobotanical Reserved where we can enjoy a view point of Pululahua potentially active caldera.
