Itinerary

DAY 1

Transfer in Quito

DAY 2

Transfer Quito-Otavalo with overnight at Hacienda Cusin. We will head north to the San Pablo lake and Otavalo area to view the traditional weaving styles at Quinche, Cayambe and Agato (and the Andrango family textile workshop)

DAY 3

Visit Otavalo, Peguche, Illuman, Cotacachi and Cuicocha before heading south the Cotopaxi area. Overnight in Hacienda El Porvenir

DAY 4

Morning excursion into Cotopaxi National Park. Then head south towards Banos and to your hacienda in Patate. En route you will stop at Salasaca weaving community. Overnight at Hacienda Manteles

DAY 5

Day at leisure with overnight at Hacienda Manteles

DAY 6

Morning pick up to go from Banos to the little village of Guano, best known for its rug-manufacturing centre then return to Quito.
