Tulipe Trek with Lunch
OVERVIEW
One of our favorite visits as we will go to the Cloud Forest to breathe pure air and if we are lucky, we will have the possibility to birdwatch and certainly see a lot of variety of plants.
Early start northwest of Quito, to first visit the Tulipe Museum, an archaeological area where the first inhabitants of the province of Pichincha used to live trading and bartering.
Then, you will visit Bellavista - Private Andean Cloud Forest Garden, which ranges in altitude 500 to 1500 mts. with foot paths full of a great variety of flora and fauna, walking along 7 or 2 kms of primary forest, admiring many species of orchids, bromeliads, ferns, palm trees, medicinal plants, butterflies, many species of birds (42 species of hummingbirds listed in this garden).
